1000Women4STEM Award - Certificate
The NorQuest College 1000Women4STEM Award will help students achieve their educational and career goals by assisting SELF FUNDED LEARNERS (not receiving any other sponsorship, grants or bursaries that would cover tuition, books, and/or mandatory college fees).
Eligibility Criteria;
• Self-identify as a woman*
• Accepted and enrolled as a full-time student in a NorQuest College approved STEM credit-based certificate program for the Winter 2026 term.
• Demonstrate financial need
• Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident
• Student cannot be receiving other sponsorship (grants or bursaries) that would cover tuition, books, and/or mandatory college fees (including but not limited to Learner Benefits, WCB, Aboriginal funding, Advancing futures)
- For the 1000W4STEM Award criteria, women is defined as individuals who self-identify as trans-women and cis-gendered women.
*NOTE:
This award will be payable over a minimum of 2 years and is contingent upon maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.0.
