1000Women4STEM Award - Diploma

The NorQuest College 1000Women4STEM Award will help students achieve their educational and career goals by assisting SELF FUNDED LEARNERS (not receiving any other sponsorship, grants or bursaries that would cover tuition, books, and/or mandatory college fees).

Eligibility Criteria;
• Self-Identify as a Woman*.
• Applied for admission to an eligible STEM diploma program for the Winter 2027 term. Applicants do not need to have received an admission decision at the time of applying for the award.
• Demonstrate financial need based on family income and a moderate standard of living.
• Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Students cannot be receiving other sponsorship (grants or bursaries) that would cover tuition, books and/or mandatory college fees (including but not limited to Learner Benefits, WCB, Aboriginal funding, Advancing Futures).
*For the 1000W4STEM Award criteria, women is defined as individuals who self-identify as trans-women and cis-gendered women.

To apply for this award, you must first complete the General Application. Once completed, you will be presented with a Recommended Opportunity for the 1000Women4STEMAward, where you will be required to upload family income documents. You must complete both the General Application and the 1000Women4STEM Award Recommended Opportunity. Apply early to be considered. Awards will be granted on a first-come, first-eligible basis. The application deadline is October 1; however, applications may close earlier if all available funding has been awarded. No applications will be reviewed after October 1.
